1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Comics and Toys UK website and the purchase of products from it.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

This website is owned and operated by Comics and Toys UK, a UK-based independent retailer.

We are not VAT registered.

3. Eligibility to Purchase

You must be 18 years of age or over to place an order on this website.

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

4. Forming a Contract

When you place an order on our website, this constitutes an offer to purchase goods.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance of your order.

A legally binding contract is formed only when your order is dispatched and we send you a dispatch confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order prior to dispatch for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Stock availability
• Pricing or listing errors
• Suspected fraud or misuse
• Operational or logistical issues

If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

5. Pricing

All prices are shown in £ sterling.

We are not VAT registered, therefore VAT is not charged on our products unless required by law.

While we take care to ensure all pricing and product information is accurate, errors may occur. If a pricing or description error is identified:

• We will contact you as soon as possible
• You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order
• If cancelled, a full refund will be issued

Promotional pricing, sales, or limited-time offers do not constitute pricing errors.

6. Payment

Payment is taken at the point your order is prepared for dispatch.

We do not store credit or debit card details. All payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers such as PayPal.

Ownership of goods remains with Comics and Toys UK until full payment has been received.

7. Availability & Pre-Orders

Product availability is subject to change.

Where release dates are shown (including pre-orders), these are estimates provided by suppliers and may change. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes to cover art or content.

If a product is cancelled by the supplier, your order will be cancelled and you will not be charged.

Limited edition items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. If supply is exhausted, your order will be cancelled and refunded. We are not liable for additional losses related to limited availability items.

8. Delivery

Delivery charges are shown during checkout and added to the order total.

We aim to dispatch orders promptly, but delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Orders will be delivered to the address provided at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to addresses we consider insecure, including (but not limited to) PO Boxes and BFPO addresses.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Uncollected or refused parcels returned to us will be refunded for the item cost only; original postage is non-refundable.

For international deliveries, orders may be subject to customs inspection, duties, or taxes. These are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Cancellations & Returns (Consumer Rights)

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods.

To cancel, you must notify us in writing by email or through your account.

Returns

Returned items must be:

• Unused
• In original packaging
• In a resalable condition

You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.

Refunds

If you cancel within the cooling-off period, we will refund:

• The cost of the item(s)
• The cost of standard outbound delivery

You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Exclusions

The right to cancel does not apply to:

• Sealed audio or video recordings once unsealed

10. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty, damaged, or sent in error, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@comicsandtoys.co.uk.

We will arrange a replacement or refund, including postage costs where applicable.

Faulty items must be reported within 28 days of receipt.

11. Site Credit & Vouchers

• Site Credit and vouchers are available to UK customers only
• You must be 18+ to purchase vouchers
• Vouchers may be purchased between £5 and £1000 per transaction
• Site Credit is applied automatically during checkout
• If payment fails, no Site Credit will be deducted

Where an order is paid using both Site Credit and card payment:

• Site Credit is used first
• Card payment is charged second

Refunds are processed back to the original payment methods in reverse order.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Comics and Toys UK or its licensors.

You may view and print content for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute or use content for commercial purposes without written permission.

13. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using this website, you agree to the processing of your data as described in that policy.

14. Links to Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Any purchases made through third-party sites are governed by their own terms and conditions.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods supplied.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
